MYRTLE BEACH
THE PLACE
Myrtle Beach is considered "the great golf showcase"; it caters 90 golf courses within a 90 miles radius in South and North Carolina. It is an accessible destination "for everyone", with convenient prices, multiple accommodation options, beaches, entertainment, resorts, restaurants, bars. Ideal location for golf trips with friends.
All the great known golf designers such as: Pete Dye, Tom Fazio, Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Greg Norman, Robert Trent Jones, Sir Rees Jones and Dan Maples have their signatures courses here. Never get bored, play Scottish-style links, parklands and typical âFloridaâ type designs with layouts that stretch along rivers and even the sea.
GOLF
Myrtle Beach offers perhaps the best âpublic golf coursesâ (accessible to non-members) in the USA, and given the great variety and quantity, a single trip wonât be enough!

PLANNING
How to get there
Unfortunately, the local airport receives few international flights, so it is necessary to fly to: Atlanta, Miami or New York and then catch a connecting flight. If driving, from Charleston (Kiawah Island) itâs just 2 hours away and from Augusta 4 hours. Due to the proximity, I strongly recommend combining Myrtle Beach and the Masters on the same trip.
